The BISCUIT Bake-off is a two-phase live panel featuring the authors of this edition’s spotlight papers, competing for the Best Paper Award.

• Phase 1: Cross-fire
  Each author gets a short slot to present the impact of their work, after which the other panelists challenge them on potential weaknesses, and they have one minute to respond, live.

• Phase 2: Ethics round
  The moderator poses provocative ethical questions tied to the field. Panelists respond with a quick yes/no, then explain their reasoning on the spot.

Expect a fast-paced, informal, and lively session: equal parts scientific scrutiny and audience entertainment 🍪
